A 10 year Balance Sheet Dashboard

Imagine you are the new CFO. You took over the position in the new firm and you want to look at the firm’s latest balance sheet.

You’ll probably want to see the firm’s 10 year balance sheet history.  It will be tough to make sense of things. What if you have a balance sheet dashboard instead? It contains the latest information complete with a 10 year history of each balance sheet line item! That’s truly a powerful tool in the hands of a competent accountant!

I’m flattered that the CEO of Klipfolio Allan Wille took the time to drop me a message:

Hi … thanks for your post about Klipfolio Dashboard – I actually stumbled upon this post: http://www.aeternus.sg/2010/a-10-year-balance-sheet-dashboard/ and thought it was about Klipfolio at first (very applicable). If you’ve downloaded our demo, you’ll see that the financial demo has a similar feel. Also, for future reference, Klipfolio Dashboard is free for personal use, but not for commercial use – just to make sure your readers know. Thanks again!
